Contest Entry Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of the contest is Alma Photography.

2. Employees of Alma Photography or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4. The approximate first prize value is $2,500. The total value of prizes given away in this contest is approximately $8,000. 

5. The wedding must be held in 2020 or 2021 in the GTA area. 

6. Grand Prize Package Details: The wedding coverage is a single day up to 6 hours of continuous coverage by one photographer, edited photos in High resolution delivered digitally. The engagement photoshoot is a 1 hour session, location within 20kms of the photography studio.

7. Secondary Prizes: The secondary prizes are only valid towards your 2020 and 2021 wedding day package, and cannot be used for albums, prints, engagement sessions, pre-wedding videos or alike. 

8. The winners will be bound by the Alma Photography standard wedding day agreement.  All additional expenses (i.e. photo permits, parking fees, and alike) are not included in this agreement 

9. Contest begins on 2020-08-19 and ends on 2020-09-20. After this date there are no further entries permitted to the competition. The promoter reserves the right to change the beginning or end date.

10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

11. Contestants will get 1 extra entry into the contest whenever they refer another valid person into the contest, 1 extra entry by sharing post in Social media, 1 extra entry by following us on Facebook, and1 entry for following us on Instagram.

12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

13. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable (only the entrant – the owner of the email address used to register – will be eligible for the prize). Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

14. Winners will be chosen at random, however the more points/entries earned per participant the higher the chance of winning. Note that all winners are selected at random and the highest number of entries does not guarantee any compensation.

15. The winners will be notified by email and/or phone, on September 21, 2020 with instructions on how to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner or cancel the prize.

16. Cheating for entries in any way (referring yourself using different emails or similar tactics) will disqualify you from winning the contest.

17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Canadian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

20. The winners agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Canadian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21. The winner’s name will be available within 28 days after closing date by sending an email to us.

22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Alma Photography and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with Canada’s standard Privacy Policies.

24. This contest is open exclusively to weddings happening in the Toronto (GTA) area in 2020 and 2021.

25. Winners consent to a full media release, and agree to participate in any promotional activities carried out by Alma Photography locally.

26. Contestants that are already working with a photographer or already signed a contract with a photographer for their wedding day cannot be eligible for this contest.

27. This contest is excluded to residents of Quebec.
